While normally I don’t get involved in these things, I am going to throw this up in support of the people protesting in Iran against the corruption, abuse, and devastation they are having to suffer with. Its horribly wrong what they are going through, and downright evil that it can happen. Help these people in anyway you can.
Go to the Why We Protest website, brought to you by your friends at Anonymous, and see what you can do. Even I, as cold as I may be (those of you who know me personally are quite of aware of this fact), find this deplorable and want something done.
I’ll be updating this when I can with more information. I am also completely changing the theme to a full green theme for the protesters.

An Iranian-American journalist accused of spying in Iran went on trial this week and a verdict is expected soon, an Iranian official has said.
In January, an Iranian-American Journalist who had previously had her press credentials revoked by the Iranian government was arrested for buying alcohol, then charged with reporting without a license, then finally tried for spying. Its very problematic that the Iranian government would do this. For all their attempts to seem peaceful, they also seem to be unwilling to let any uncontrolled information out of the region. Generally, these acts are indicative of something hidden. So this does raise the question of what Iran is hiding that they will quickly jump to these accusations.
