While normally I don’t get involved in these things, I am going to throw this up in support of the people protesting in Iran against the corruption, abuse, and devastation they are having to suffer with. Its horribly wrong what they are going through, and downright evil that it can happen. Help these people in anyway you can.
Go to the Why We Protest website, brought to you by your friends at Anonymous, and see what you can do. Even I, as cold as I may be (those of you who know me personally are quite of aware of this fact), find this deplorable and want something done.

Basically, studies have been conducted recently showing that, despite the blame put on pirates on the intertubes for falling music sales, pirates are actually helping keep this industry alive. Pirates are more than just evil, sociopathic, sadistic people ready to steal the candy from the baby’s hands. Pirates are actually people with good intents. Their focus, in the majority, is not to do harm to others, they just want easy access without the awful DRM (Digital Right Management) that causes nightmares for everyone. Legally speaking, according to DMCA 1201 You are automatically committing copy-right infringement if, after purchasing a file from a program such as iTunes, then something with your computer changes and you get it back or even try to get it back. So in reality, pirates are in the same boat with the rest of the world, we just take the helicopter-assisted flight in instead of the rickety piece of wood serving as a gangplank the rest of the world takes.
