We were given this article to evaluate for Current Events this week.
The main point behind the article was the difficulties behind passing a national health care policy reformation. It mostly covered the history of health care reform from Clinton’s attempt in 1993. It seems to show some form of leaning towards the left, as it appears sympathetic to the Democrats and critical to the Republicans and the GOP.

Matt Frei: BBC World News America
Posted by Zedacon on March 12, 2009
Matt Frei has worked as the BBC correspondent for various nations and regions including Germany, Southern Europe, Asia, and here in America. On his first day as the BBC German correspondent, he was there for the fall of the Berlin Wall. He’s been the correspondent for several major events, as has been in very volatile situations such as riots in Asia and the economic collapses that occurred there. He is currently the BBC’s Washington correspondent for the television show BBC World News America on BBC America between 6:00 and 7:00 PM Central Time. His style for presenting the news seems fairly unbiased and factual, though from my viewing, he does occasionally throw in quips at liberals. I found his history to be very interesting, as he has covered several major and volatile events. It has been interesting to see some news without the typical over-bearing bias.
